CT Tech - Traveler (Days)
Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards in Riverdale, GA. The technologist functions as the first point of contact for patients and supports the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Responsibilities include participation in performance improvement and quality control activities and the processing and transmission of images to PACS. Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing radiologic practice is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and support their imaging needs
- Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities
- Process and transmit images to PACS
Qualifications
- ARRT-R certification required
- Fluoroscopy permit required within 6 months of hire
- Venipuncture certificate required within 3 months of hire
- Current BCLS (AHA)
- Graduate of a JRCERT- or ABHES-accredited program
- Minimum one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations
- Proficient computer skills
Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts, three days per week, Friday-Sunday (Days)
- Immediate start
