Job Title: RN – ER/Emergency (Days)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and effective patient care in the Emergency Department. The RN utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid response capability, and effective communication with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and accurate triage, assessment, and stabilization of emergency and trauma

patients.

• Administer medications, perform procedures, and implement physician orders safely and

efficiently.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient

care.

• Provide patient and family education on discharge instructions, treatment, and follow-up

care.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with trauma and emergency care

protocols.

• Participate in trauma resuscitations and emergency response activations as required.
• Uphold patient privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license – required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification – required.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification – required.
• PALS (AHA) certification – required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care or trauma

setting – required.

• TNCC and ENPC – preferred.

Shift Details

• 07:00 - 19:30 (Days).
• 3x12, 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• Assignment dates: 06/29/2026 – 09/26/2026.
• No on-call.
• Reno, NV.

Compensation

• $3024.00/week gross (36 guaranteed hours)
• Housing & meals stipend available for qualifying travelers (amount finalized with your recruiter within IRS/GSA limits)
• Local candidates: $84.00/hr
